Our Volunteers make It All Possible

As a volunteer-powered non-profit organization, Florida Rottweiler Rescue Ranch would not exist without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. The number of dogs we can save depends on the number of people we have helping us. We are always looking for new volunteers!

There are many ways you can volunteer with Florida Rottweiler Rescue Ranch. From the early stages of preparing for our animal’s arrival, meeting them at transport, doing home visits for potential adopters, and coming out to the Ranch. Every step along on our animal’s journey relies on volunteers.

We need volunteers for all sorts of tasks. Please take a look at our list of volunteer needs and contact us if you’d like to help.

  • Help at the Ranch – Joe is always in need of help at the Ranch taking care of the dogs and completing building projects to provide comfort and a positive space while they wait for their forever family. Everything from construction, to laying gravel and cement, to hosing off kennels and washing dog dishes. All help is welcome and appreciated!
  • Events – You would be the public face of our rescue organization and a key part in the process.
  • Transport – We frequently have need of short and longer haul transport drivers to help us rescue animals. This could include out of state trips or just bringing animals to the Ranch.
  • Photography – Professional or talented amateur photographers make a huge difference in saving the lives of animals. There are opportunities to help at events or to come to the Ranch and photograph our adoptable and sanctuary dogs to help them get adopted or sponsored.
  • Foster Care – When you foster, you agree to take a homeless dog or cat into your home and give them love, care and attention, either for a predetermined period of time or until the dog is adopted. Our foster program is located in the western part of the Florida Panhandle and Southern Alabama.
  • Home Visits – Visit potential fosters’ or adopters’ homes to ensure their homes are safe and full of love for their new companion
